Covid 19 Update; January 2021

As the ‘Third Wave’ of this pandemic brings further disruption, fear and uncertainty to all our daily lives, Beechlawn Medical Centre remains open and available to offer support and help to our patients.

Unfortunately, given the high levels of the virus currently circulating throughout our community we will often need to provide this care, in the first instance, through the use of telephone or video consultation. Following discussion with your doctor, where a face-to-face appointment is deemed clinically necessary, this will be conducted in the most safe manner possible.

Obviously this creates further delays and increased pressure for all and we ask for your patience whilst we navigate through this difficult period. To help with this, please see the below links which some may find beneficial and reflect a variety of the issues and questions our admin staff have dealt with over recent days and weeks.

  1. Isolation Quick Guide
  2. Social Isolation vs Restricted Movements
  3. Questions re; Covid 19 Vaccine
  4. Ireland’s National Immunisation Office
  5. Tips for keeping well….both physically and mentally
  6. Travel Advice to and from Ireland

Additionally, as we continue to aid our Public Health Teams mitigate the spread of the Covid 19 virus across our communities through contact-tracing and look forward to a national Covid 19 vaccine roll-out, we ask all patients when contacting us, to check with our admin team that we have up to date contact details for you. This will help our ability to communicate efficiently with you on an individual basis, where necessary.

Finally, on behalf of all of us here at Beechlawn Medical Centre we would like to wish our patients and their families and healthy and prosperous 2021.
