As most are aware, and as highlighted in our earlier posts (and indeed across the media), vaccine supply has been an issue with regard to our roll out of the vaccination programme in our cohort of patients, aged over 70. This has been an issue in numerous practices across the country and has led to obvious frustrations and concern for patients and indeed ourselves.
Despite regular correspondence with the HSE, it has been difficult for them to accurately advise us of the number of first dose vaccines available for us to administer at any of clinics over recent weeks.
We have been assured however, that we will have adequate supply to administer first dose vaccines to ALL of our over 70s over the coming two weeks.
Please be patient and bear with us, and most importantly our incredibly hard-working admin staff, over this time, as we look to work through our remaining patients.
If you are a registered patient of our practice, aged over 70 and have not received a vaccine or an appointment for your vaccine by Wednesday 14th April…please contact us to arrange.
Be safe.
